I'm tickled by the blooms I'm enjoying this Spring. The fragrance of the phlox and honeysuckle are heavenly.
Nothing smells like summer coming as much as honeysuckle does. I recall when my father planted phlox along a drainage ditch in our back yard. It was called "Creeping Charlie."
Right, John B. When we moved here it was winter and when summer came around all you could smell was honeysuckle that surrounded the house. I thought I would begin to dislike it but no after 24 years I love it still.
