http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/peanut-butter-silk-cake/47ded2a2-1cf6-404c-a3e6-5121b55c7514 My husband and I both love peanut butter, we often might just make a peanut butter sandwich on whole grain bread along with some fruit for a meal. Two years ago I found this cake recipe with peanut butter and made it for my husband's birthday cake. This is exactly what he said to me after tasting it: "I never want you to make me any cake but this one for my birthday from now on!" And I hope to be able to do just that for many years to come.
That really looks good. I may try it someday. Right now we have so many things in the freezer and canned that need to be used and we don't eat sweets as often as I'd like. But I'm always open to new adventures when it comes to food.
It is really good and I have lots of witnesses who can verify that too! After I first made it for my husband's birthday I told my daughters about it and they insisted I make one for our Thanksgiving Family get together. I did and there wasn't one piece left to take home with us. I crushed the peanut topping for my husband's cake since he wears dentures.
Oh, the temptation to go make that!! Looks delicious, and I love peanut butter! Thanks Babs .... I think!
I love peanut butter! Too much, thankfully I'm not a baker. It takes all my will power not to buy a Reese's PB cup at the checkout.
The cake looks so moist and delicious. The recipe is easy enough to bake a peanut butter cake! Guess substitution for us cutting down on sugar is okay to use for the brown sugar too. Looks so moist!
