The timing is eerie. There has been an armed presence on campuses these days due to the anti-Israel protests. I believe it's FBI and not National Guard, though.
The sad part about the protests going on now is that most of the "protestors" have no idea WTF they are protesting. At least back in the Vietnam era, college students were protesting something that we were actively involved in.
The common denominator is that both crowds are full of government antagonists. But I agree, there is no substance to today's protesters.
