Cost Of Living Adjustments

I'll get that pound of butter I've been saving up for.

 

The biggest joke is that it’s supposed to be a cost of living adjustment. Bidenomics at work.

 

I received that message too from SSA. You know the cost of living increase is just giving me money to 'help' pay for increase in the cost of living and I still have to make up the difference. Blah, blah, blah.

 

Bubble burst.. as always The medicare cost also goes up ten dollars. I never get excited about the increases -- it literally means nothing. Also insurance premiums go up, along with a host of other items.

 

I don't get excited but I'm glad the increases come..I have no insurance premiums. last insurance I had was auto and I had to give up driving in 2017... If I owned a house I'd have insurance premiums but I own very little, just what is in my apt.

 

About employee raises:

 

Since they are replacing self check-outs with people around here again, I know there will be another increase in prices but that has been happening steadily anyway.

 

I think it's early for COLA estimates, but I have seen Social Security benefits are on pace for a 2.6% COLA in 2025.
