    All so good !

The thought that springs to mind is - Be wise, you're old enough to know better

As I live amongst my elders, I find wisdom does not come with age

An elderly gent was invited to his old friends' home for dinner one evening. He was impressed by the way his buddy preceded every request to his with endearing terms-Honey, My Love, Darling, Sweetheart, Pumpkin, etc.
The couple had been married almost 70 years, and clearly they were still very much in love. While the wife was in the kitchen, the man leaned over and said to his host, "I think it's wonderful that, after all these years, you still call your wife those loving pet names."
The old many hung his head. "I have to tell you the truth," he said, "I forgot her name about 10 years ago."

I'm now 65, so my grandson thinks he should do all the heavy work around the place, and at the same time he thinks I have wisdom to impart to him. So that makes me feeble and intelligent at the same time. :p:D

LOL...that's so true.... have you noticed when we're young we add a year to our age... almost 7 years old we'd say when we were just turned 6.....when we get to middle age we'll drop a year or 2 and say we're mid 50's even if we're closer to 60....but then when seniors get to their 80's and above they revert to that child again, and at 88 years and one day old... will ask everyone to ''guess how old I am'', and then when everyone has knocked off 10 years to be polite, the elder will proudly declare that they're almost 89.... :D:D
