Hubby and his brother saw one when they were kids in the 50s. Funny thing is later I was studing Bible reading Ezekeal and the chaariot had a perefect description he had told me the UFo they saw had far as the lights looking like precious jewels. Hubby had never seen any kinds of lights like it on earth and they were just rotating like a wheel. Sound so quite yet powerful kind of hum,Size of ball field and they could hit it with a rock is was so close. They lived out in rural S.C. It surprised us both about Bible verse.
There was a book published in the 1970s (I think) entitled Spaceships of Ezekiel. It was written by a NASA engineer and he got several patents out of the description from the Bible.
I remember having about the same experience, and probably about the same year, @Don Alaska . It was an all-night drive from Seattle to Spokane, and probably around the flat area near Moses Lake, and my husband and I were watching the moon and talking about how HUGE it was, and how orange; bigger than I have ever seen the moon, before or since. I think we must have come to a curvier part of the highway, where it went behind us, but when we looked for it, the moon was just gone.
Since UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object, my answer is yes. Thousands of them. Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. If the question is have I ever seen an alien spacecraft, my answer is not to my knowledge.
What part of the country were you in when this happened to you, @Don Alaska ? I wonder if we saw the same thing, whatever it was.
Years ago I followed a UFO a while. It was at night and the object was ringed with lights. It moved slowly. I was in my car. but it went up the east of our lake and I could go no further. We did not have cell phones back then so there was not much I could do but watch and not have people believe me the next day.
I saw a UFB (Unidentified Flying Bug) last night in my backyard, it was flying around my rear lite. It was green and black and large, before I could get a picture, it flew off in a flash. It couldn't have been from this Earth had to be an alien. I wonder how many people if this was published would believe this story, how many could relate to it saying they saw the same creature / bug. just one of my strange thoughts.
