There are some people who have very specific indoor home décor choices, such as pictures, etc.. That is pretty much how we are. Our apartment décor includes wildlife figurines and Yellowstone Plates, rodeo pictures (I took), a wall full of old tv Western Stars and their horses, a room full of Star Wars stuff, a section of wall of The Old West (famous cowboys and Indian Chiefs) and my wife Coke Collection of things. Funny, but all of the Florida pictures and ceramic lighthouses we had in our apartment there, we got rid of. From the folks we've talked to here, Florida isn't very well liked.
Well my wife said she never wanted to live in Florida because all they had was old people and golf courses.
I like simple, not a lot of clutter on the walls, or sitting on tables, and prefer not much furniture in general. Can't remember a single picture on the walls in our house growing up. But my house now has high ceilings, especially on the first floor. There is too much empty wall space at the top, so I had to get a few pictures. It just looked unbalanced otherwise.
We don't have a "style", Our walls are covered with family pictures from the turn of the 20th century to present day. We have an eclectic mix of souvenirs, antiques and junque that one or both of us found interesting at some point. Joanna Gaines would have a stroke if she walked in. Don't much care,we are comfortable!
One wall dedicated to The Pittsburgh Steelers of old...The Steel Wall. So my husband won't feel left out.
I am a bit embarrassed to post any shots of my interior as wife is a hoarder. Our spare room is pretty chocka already so she has the living room with boxes like a small warehouse. I do have this of my tv/family room where i spend time when not on the computer.

Thank God that I have helped my wife how to get rid of many things she doesn't need. In the last 19 years we've been married, we've gotten rid of a lot of stuff. Compared to what she had, when I met her, I had nothing. When we had our house, there were two bedrooms full of things that we've gotten rid of.
