Which objects do you carry on your person most of the time? This would be roughly more than 50% of the time. Since it allows only 10 responses, a second poll will follow.

Okay, now I found part 1, and it has the phone on it. Even so, I don’t carry ANY of these even close to half of the time. My phone sits on my desk, and if we go somewhere, (which is seldom) then it is carried in my purse, along with my wallet. My purse is tiny, about 4x6 inches, just large enough for my phone and necessary cards and identification, a pen, and small pair of reading glasses.

From this list, about $10 in cash is the only thing that I carry more than half the time. I would imagine most of you will carry your keys and a mobile phone when you leave the house, but I leave my iPhone at home more than half the time, although I am more likely to carry it in the winter when I am wearing a jacket with convenient pockets to fit it into. We don't habitually lock our door, so I don't regularly carry keys unless I'm driving somewhere or have reason to believe that my wife will be gone (because she will lock the door). If we're together, we don't both need keys, so I leave mine at home and can get into the house without carrying my keys with me, anyhow. I won't go into details here.

This adds up to a weighted vest and I can only handle my 10 pounder for a couple of hours at a time. Makes you walk straight.

Ken, you may want to be more specific at to purpose. Shopping - phone (if I do not forget it), credit card (some stores I am good without), gun depends on where I am going (a trip to the various means parking tires towards the road).

I just inventoried my backpack purse that is my "everyday" carry:

Phone, keys clipped on the strap, wallet. Lipstick, small tube of handcream, pen & small notepad, small deodorant, folding toothbrush, tiny tube of toothpaste, folding hairbrush, pack of tissues, small tape measure, small hand sanitizer, small magnifier, two wrapped mints, tiny tin of mints, small pad of Post-It notes, small shell, large paper clip, clothespin, and a completely crushed package of oyster crackers I have no idea where it came from.

Five quarters, 3 dimes, 4 nickels, and 9 pennies, garnered from the bottom of the bag and various compartments.

Several crumpled receipts, none of any importance. Three pairs of reading glasses (which explains why I couldn't find an extra pair in the house) and a pair of scratched-up cheap sunglasses.

Incidentally, although I suspected they might be there, i found neither Jimmy Hoffa nor Jimmy Buffett's lost shaker of salt. Still lookin', however.....
