    Hello everyone,

Brand new member here. One of my favorite hobbies is bird & wildlife photography and I wanted to share some of my very favorite images with you. I have a collection of bridge cameras that I use and I especially enjoy portrait style captures of my subjects whenever possible. Birds are truly living works of art and I hope you enjoy these photos! All captured hand-held, no cropping.

    Best regards,
    Tony

We had a member @Tom Locke who also liked Birds and taking photos of them. Maybe he'll come around again.

@Tony Britton , where were these photos taken?

Are most of these birds local?

I enjoyed seeing your photos of birds we do not see around here. I live a life of no Egrets!;)

Yes, these were photographed in Santa Cruz, Monterey, Moss Landing and Pacific Grove, California. Absolutely lovely coastal communities!

Was in that area last weekend. Going again monday. Yes, it's a great area for birds. Last weekend we saw a lot of sea lions. My sister was visiting from Colorado and we were doing all the tourist stops.

Thanks. If I decide to post a few of my captive bird & wildlife images I'll make that very clear, as well. Otherwise, all local to the Central Coast of California.

Do you have any pics of all the sea lions that bask in the sun right around the Monterey Bay Aquarium area?

Think it's the trail that's called point lobos but I'm not sure....nice walk along the ocean tnere.
