Our prescription drugs kill us in large numbers
    [IMG]https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25355584/
Our prescription drugs are the third leading cause of death after heart disease and cancer in the United States and Europe. Around half of those who die have taken their drugs correctly; the other half die because of errors, such as too high a dose or use of a drug despite contraindications.
Prescription Medications: The Third Leading Cause of Death
    [IMG]https://www.power2practice.com/article/prescription-medications-third-leading-cause-death/
I have estimated that our prescription drugs are the third major killer after heart disease and cancer. And I have recently looked at psychiatric drugs, and these drugs are so harmful that they alone are also your third major killer after heart disease and cancer." It is interesting to note that Dr. Gotzsche used to work for Big Pharma.
Prescription Drugs Are Now the 4th Leading Cause of Death
    [IMG]https://www.institutefornaturalheal...drugs-are-now-the-4th-leading-cause-of-death/
Taking prescription drugs has become a roll of the dice… Some 128,000 Americans a year now die from the effects of medications prescribed to them. This number doesn't include overdose deaths—only people who took their drugs as prescribed. Prescription drugs have become the fourth leading cause of death in the U.S.

Previous decades somewhat, and the last six months now especially,

'they' (doctors and politicians and sweet young deceivers in a dress) SAID TO -
'they' said that for safety sake (yours or those around you)
IF you have any symptom (67 different symptoms, including breathing trouble, hadache, sore muscle, etc etc etc)
to call or go see a pcd to be tested to know that you are not contagious or not dangerous to yourself or to others.

That's "why" some people call with any problem. Not why they should, though, since if they got the care that they needed they would already know what to do instead, with no fear nor anxiety at all, and healing instead of getting worse.

Actually, when I first saw the post, that was the first thing that came to mind until I read the context.

"the context" ? Ever thought of this context > hallucinations or distorted perceptions and violent behavior CAUSED by primary care physicians ? (remember for a decade or longer, not so long ago, every mass shooting was by someone "under the care" of a pcp, given drugs for their mind, ineffective drugs as far as healing is concerned, but great for causing all those problems noted)

Actually, my Family Doctor probably saved me from being wheelchair-bound. After I broke my back, I saw ER docs, surgeons, and was referred to a neurosurgeon who proceeded to ignore the referral. On the several instances when I called the neurosurgeon, I got the, "Don't call us, we'll call you" routine. Finally, out of desperation, I went to the doctor that my entire family had used for decades. He knew me and knew I was not a whiner, evaluated my symptoms, and sent me for an MRI of my lower back. When the MRI results came back, he gave me a copy of the MRI and instructed me to go to Anchorage (if I could endure the pain), go to the ED there with my MRI, and said they would have to do something. I was evaluated by the ER doctor, the MRI was reviewed, another neurosurgeon was called, and I was in OR the next day.

I actually got any apology phone call from the original neurosurgeon to which I was referred, saying he was led to believe my was a routine compression fracture until he saw my name on the surgery schedule and consulted with the listed physician.

Anyway, that is my story. Unfortunately, at least here in the U.S., most primary care has now been handed over to nurse practitioners or physician's assistants. They get about 10% of the clinical training of a Family Physician, but are given almost the same "power." Much is missed and much damage is done with this practice. If I had been seeing an NP or a PA, I would probably be in a wheelchair now. They are fine for minor issues, but who can tell what is "minor"?

Unfortunately, my doctor retired when Obamacare passed, as he could no longer afford to keep his single physician practice open.

An experienced (maybe licensed) kinesiologist (likewise some naturopathic or holistic practitioners) can tell. If and when surgery is needed, as in your case, it is recommended and accomplished accordingly.

In other words, they do not want you to do your own study or research, but to believe them and trust them even if and when they are wrong (which happens now to be most of the time).

"Easy" or "difficult", research for yourself and keep looking. Never stop.

    OOOPS,

Like those who asked the fox to guard the chickens,

You totally fell for it, didn't you ?

    Research failed. (trusted the enemy)

It wouldn't be so bad, but others here have for over a years , repeatedly, posted the more accurate, realistic numbers.

Go and learn what is right, if you want to.

It can very well depend on what you would consider "easy". I spent 4 1/2 years working for a Healthcare Company in Denver, that consisted of 99% Seniors, and each time I had to go to one of our Day Centers, I seen a number of people who most definitely didn't have "easy" medical problems.

lol - let's see... I can trust the JAMA, who is not my enemy, or I can trust some random internet dipstick that has demonstrated total reliance on inaccurate and biased information. (Not referring to you , of course.. :))

Thanks, but I'll stick with the folks who are the experts.

    But thanks for playing.
