There was an email I received about regrowing teeth. I deleted it before I got a chance to read it. I think it's a great idea if it can be done. Below is a cut and paste of an internet article about it.
Promising Research
Antibody Drug (Japan): A drug targeting the USAG-1 gene, which limits tooth growth, has shown success in animals and is in human trials, potentially offering a third set of teeth by 2030.
Stem Cell Therapy: Using stem cells within the jaw to stimulate new tooth growth shows promise in animal studies, with potential for even regenerating pulp and dentin.
What's Next?
Researchers are working to translate these animal and early human successes into safe, widely available treatments.
These future therapies aim to harness the body's healing potential for more natural tooth regeneration, reducing the need for artificial replacements.
