It's, "Maisie", "Marie", and I am one of the worst, about spoiling these "dogs" I've ever seen, just can't help "myself". I know I shouldn't but still do it.

Because of adopting Maisie, they said Leo would have to be fixed before she could come home with us. Hated to do that; scared something could go wrong for him. So we had it done anyway, and by then, they had kept Maisie for seven more days, until he was fixed. Then we took Maisie to be fixed at Shands University, and they kept her three days and nights; only to tell us when we picked her up with her stomach shaved and was put to sleep, she has a tattoo down there, and she's already fixed.

Sadly we don't. Both hubby and I just wouldn't be able to take the heartbreak losing one, but we talk about it all the time.

I understand that too, we have our beloved animals buried all around here.
Including a baby calf they were mistreating at the stockyards, spent lots of money trying to save it, found out later it never had a chance since it didn't get its mothers milk.

I will never understand for the life of me how anyone can neglect or abuse animals. I hope there's a special place reserved for such evil when this life comes to en end for them.
