When I was new in the office, I would always go with my colleagues when eating lunch, mostly in the building's canteen. So when my colleagues would eat out (in a restaurant) I would go with them even if my food allowance is not enough. There was a time that I would borrow money before payday comes because of that habit of eating out.

When I got used to the life of an employee, I realized that it is not good to be always under the influence of others. Although my colleagues have become my close friends, I have to be independent from them. Especially when I got married, my husband is a very practical man who would always tell me to do what I wish and not to let people sway my decision.
