Shoes ..ordered on 15th Jan got them today ,was very disappointed to find dirty / soled shoes that have quite obviously been worn they have scuff marks on the heels and look like something had been spilled on them
the brand is Ecco so they are not cheap shoes they cost me close to $200 at least they have offered a refund
when they get them back .

I've seen similar complaints on Amazon reviews...people pay for new products, and are shipped obvious used products that look as though Amazon didn't even inspect upon return...they just went back on the shelf to be resold.

I've almost stopped even checking local stores for anything the least bit unusual. The trend for years has been to order, even if you go through the store. I can see where that is much more efficient for the store.

I was about to order one of these on Amazon and found out, in a review comment, that Home Depot has them in stock. (Claims to have 11 here ) We'll see. I've been fooled before.

$35.98. I figured these things would be much more expensive.

I'll probably never figure out how to set it up.

I guess you're gonna set this up as your front door security? I've looked at these systems and have yet to pull the trigger.

Did you notice that you have to run a USB cable to this model for power?

I have bought a lot of stuff from ThermoWorks over the years (direct and through Amazon), to include that weather station setup I just commented on. I got an email for 40% off silicone heat-proof spatulas. I have one and I really love it, so I ordered two that are like spoons and another plain spatula:

No, I'm going to use it to watch the squirrel bird feeder from the cell phone. There is an outlet 3 feet from where the thing will sit on a window sill. You can opt out of any connection with the company, or cloud storage, or annual fees, so they say. It requires WiFi. I got that upstairs. Will WiFi walk down the stairs? ;)

They had only one left. Box had factory seal. I took a chance.

I'm already stuck at downloading the app. Forgot Google password. LOL

I hadn't thought of putting one of these by bird feeders. That's a great idea!

I put one of these way up in a tree for the pileated woodpeckers:

It's away from the house because they are so skittish. And I can't even step out the door with binoculars to see them from afar...because they are so skittish. I wonder if I can find a solar powered unit with a decent transmission range...

In our house the WiFi router is upstairs so I had to purchase a WiFi extender for the downstairs. Never needed it until we started all the streaming services on the TV in the den, but the pixelated picture was really annoying without a WiFi boost.

Hopefully you'll get enough signal to operate the camera.

No, I bought them directly from a business (Thermoworks) that makes kitchen & BBQ thermometers and other temperature-measuring devices (like Infra Red guns.) They make an very nice instant-read thermometer that's promoted by a popular cooking show here (America's Test Kitchen.) I've bought a few of their thermometers.

I don't know how or why they got into the heat-proof utensil business. The silicone stuff is pricey wherever you get it, so when I saw 40% off I figured I'd pick up a couple...as you said, the blades are not bulky and these have a long handle.

No, it doesn't. They empty mine every couple of days lately.

    Is that a ladder back?
