I was just playing a few games and a question came up about creepy experiences
This happened in 2021 while babysitting a cat for 3 months in Adelaide
It was an nice old what called local stone home built in 1925 ……..( SA is known for limestone )
typical 4 roomed cottage type ….with modern extension on the back
We’d have to walk up a long passage to the very front bedroom ….and a chilly shadow ….like a puff of drifting cloud , came out of the room opposite “ our “ room..this happened most nights
….
.then one morning was sitting in the back extension ( family room) sipping out breakfast coffee/ tea , and a vase sitting on the window sill exploded….
We never mentioned the creepy cloud , to the owner a single senior lady ….but was latter chatting to her about the history of her home age ect .
It turned out ….she was born in the same very small town as my
father ( about 700 km from Adelaide) and her parents were undertakers in the town ……and knew my fathers family
and being undertaker …….buried my father when he was killed at 42
She even did some homework for me as she knew more about my fathers side of the family than i did
( I only met him once before he was killed )
( Small world we live in )
The room where the shadow kept appearing from had. 6 foot square photos of her mother in it ….which was standing behind the door
.we both felt and seen the creepy cold shadow , even tho I’d go to bed about 8 pm ( I had me leg in plaster due to a fractured leg / ankle so,I’d go lay down early ) ..and Hubs wouldn’t come to bed till 11 ish
and we are not believers in that sort of thing .
I’d wondered after we’d left there ,if I should have let the cat into the area …..the home was very clean and the cat was not allowed past the passage door
Cats seem to pick up creepy things
I spoke to Heather recently and asked about wiggles the orange cat …..but she never answered me …..she had issues with him peeing inside
however we took care of him for 3 months ..and he never peed inside once ….he slept on a cold laminex table ( in winter ) till I bought him a bed
photo of the remains of the vase that exploded…it was really thick glass
