Finally got 4 or 5 hours of sleep last night after 8 months of a nightmare watching Marie suffer.



Sorry for not updating about Marie more often; but this has been so hard on me, and with never sleeping, God had to have carried me through the last 8 months. There is no way anyone could keep going under the stress and totally lack of sleep. Last night after the beautiful funeral ,we all had, even Haven The nurses, came there like "Angles", cared and helped me so much with Marie; I'm forever grateful. The Preacher did great and is cousins with Gale Haven nurses, Krystal came , I've met so many wonderful people, over the last eight months.

Thanks for starting this thread @Jake Smith. I think it is time to put the "New Primarily Care Doctor." one to Rest.

I hope you are getting some rest and I know you have a lot of things to take care of. The photos of the service were beautiful in a tearful way. The forum won't be the same without Marie, but death is one of the things about a senior forum, that is a reality. I hope to see you on the tractor thread in time. Maybe get another old tractor to restore. Keeping busy is the best way to deal with the passing of a love one. I know, since I have been doing it for the last 55 years. Sometimes we have to stop and take a cry and that is good.

Marie will be sorely missed. "Whose gonna fill her shoes, whose gonna answer that call, whose gonna post the videos and keep the forum on the ball."
