The largest expenditure in WW2 was the Manhattan Project, at nearly 2 billion dollars. This was for the development of the Atomic Bomb.

The Virus Relief package that was approved by Congress was ONE THOUSAND TIMES HIGHER!

(These figures are not adjusted for dollar value between 1945 and 2021.)

In all fairness I think you should adjust for $ value.

Yes...I should put it on a fair comparison dollar cost from WW2 to the present.

"The Manhattan Project began modestly in 1939, but grew to employ more than 130,000 people and cost nearly US $2 billion (equivalent to about $23 billion in 2019)."

The Manhattan Project was to make a bomb to kill people. The atomic age was started and for electrical power maybe it was a good thing but for killing people is a bad thing.
The covid relief bill is a disaster first the government has no money but has your money so they make a bill to spent your money and give you 6% and the rest goes to their pet projects. They are ripping the people who need help but want everyone to think they are hero's

Well Biden has the answer after watching the country go broke except for the multi billionaires who got richer. The covid releif bill that gave 94% to their buddies and 6% to the people. They now want it back not from their rich friends but through taxing everyone Get ready here it comes.major tax hike.
