One of the original 24 Mouseketters, of the Mickey Mouse Club and of The Rifleman fame. He'd been battling Alzheimer's Disease since 2019. Apparently he could hardly speak or not speak at all. His wife brought home from the hospital and was caring for him. However, it was reported that it too expensive to leave him in the hospital or even care for him at home. Now, one article about his death, says he died of Alzheimer's, yet another article states that he died of Covid 19 and pneumonia. So, just which did he die of? Or, should I say "here we go again..........Alzheimers and/or Covid 19 and pneumonia??
That sucks. I recall reading that he was a pretty good singer, but I've never looked up any of his music. I also read that The Rifleman was a positive experience for him, and he really liked Chuck Conners (just as Ron Howard and Andy Griffith were.)
I just read this and hubby and i were talking about him the other day. I have his only album, that I know of he ever made..or could be his first. So sad whatever he died of. Another piece of nostalgia bites the dust ttps://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/news/johnny-crawford-the-rifleman-child-star-and-mouseketeer-dies-at-7
