Don't know if this should be in news thread or education Normally there is about 1,000 sealed indictments in the justice system each year. Now there is over 90,000 and there are starting to be unsealed the first few showed the corruption in the education system. The rich can get someone to falsify tests and documents to get their children into elite universities which they normally could not get into. They are paying thousands of dollars to millions of dollars for an education which is false. https://www.usnews.com/news/nationa...t-in-elite-college-admissions-bribery-scandal https://www.usnews.com/news/nationa...t-in-elite-college-admissions-bribery-scandal There is a lot more to come.
Love it, @Martin. I am glad the MSM is covering something other than bashing Trump. Somehow, this has to be Trump's fault, though, doesn't it? I am waiting for them to get around to that.
He does provide climate for greed, outrageous behaviors and selfishness as well as constant lying, cheating and stealing. So yeah, I see a connection.
@Lulu Moppet I can understand perception of the first three negatives, but not the second three. Are our perceptions of those not driven by the media's relentless defamation of Trump? If we do allow our self-acquired perceptions to be driven by sources not provable, are we not "selling ourselves" out? Frank
It is not like this has just started happening, it is that it has been ongoing; but now something is being done about it, hence the huge increase in the sealed indictments. So, you could definitely say that President Trump is responsible for trying to clean up this mess and stop it from being an ongoing situation.
The thread had nothing to do with Trump but some never can get away from that subject. It had to do with elites paying for schooling when they were not qualified to get.
"So, you could definitely say that President Trump is responsible for trying to clean up this mess and stop it from being an ongoing situation." Hey, Yvonne, don't drag me into your fantasy, LOL
It's not defamation, it's the truth. The perceptions are based on truth. I've known of Trump and his escapades for most of my life. We know him, we've always known him for exactly what he is. You out-of-towners don't know this man who has looked down on people like you as hicks and suckers. That's not my opinion, that's his.
Martin. Dear. His post came prior to yours, so...............nevermind. Saw some lovely birds today. Sunny day, love sunny days. Don't you? Dear?
@Lulu Moppet First bold: Tell me, please, what exactly is he? Second: If I be classified with those, what are "out-of-towners"? If the man looks down on me as a hick and sucker, he has every right to do so, and the fact that he does has absolutely no effect upon me as an individual. I seriously doubt that his "escapades" have affected me personally in any way. Please understand I'm supporting principle here; I've never said I care for the man himself. I don't. However, it seems your perceptions, based on truth, are driving forward due to hatred rather than principle. Frank
