Drug Ads are on every commercial break. We don't watch much regular TV. We only watch a few shows on various streaming channels and the drug ads are on all of them. I don’t think there is any other commercials on TV anymore except those damn drug ads, except for a few Aflac Insurance commercials thrown in, which is annoying too. ALL the streaming channels have some kind of ads, unless you want to pay extra to go ad free.

Oh no! We must be lucky.

That is especially true if the politicians are running in areas not aligned with their party affiliation. In
Alaska, the Democrats often run as Independents, but the Republicans who win sometimes become de facto Democrats if they win. Our state Senate has a majority of Republicans but is controlled by the Democrats because the Independents vote with the Democrats and two Republicans have joined the Democrat caucus.

In
Alaska, the Democrats often run as Independents, but the Republicans who win sometimes become de facto Democrats if they win.

That's a bit like Maine, where we have Senator Angus King, an "Independent" who has never not voted with the Democrats, and Susan Collins, a "Republican" who far too often votes with the Democrats. On streaming channels, the political ads are always the ones that can't be skipped.
