Do Nothing Republicans

Very thin majority in the House--said to be the thinnest majority ever. If the Dems pick up one more seat there, the next session will be impeachment after impeachment and they will do nothing else either They are already introducing articles of impeachment they know will go nowhere. Here in Alaska, we have Democrats who run as Republicans to get elected then switch parties in fact, not name. They are still listed as Republicans but caucus as Democrats, so there are many more Republicans in the legislature, but the Democrats dictate what happens.

They pushed the BBB through, and that will impact everybody's taxes, some back to January 2025. Retroactive tax hikes are illegal--ex post facto--as Clinton did in the 1990s, but I don't know about retroactive tax cuts. Thyme might be unconstitutional as well, but the cuts are better for us.
 
Thune keeps going on vacation to avoid dealing with the Save America Act.
Trump intends to have it stapled to the NDAA which is required to be passed every year. Hope springs eternal for progress.

A shocking provision is buried in this year’s NDAA which would integrate the Israeli military with our own -- fusing technology, production, intelligence sharing, and more.
This provision would hand the keys to the Pentagon – and our intelligence community – to a foreign country that is not accountable in any way to American citizens.

I don't suppose there is a way to get this out of the bill. Israel knew of 9/11 ahead of time and laughed.
We are in such a mess.

If this is true, it is very disturbing. Israel is responsible for the nonsense of dual citizenship in the U.S., as they wanted their citizens to be able to vote in U.S. elections in part to shape pro-Israel politics in the U.S., despite the oath that naturalized citizens take to renounce loyalty to other nations.

"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."

How can you take that oath and be a dual citizen?

That is a chicken and egg question. The US disregards other citizenships and requires exit/entry via US passport. Then there are countries which will not release citizens. Then there are countries which require renouncing other citizenships. It is a treadmill of bureaucracy. The US requires proof of other citizenships to be able to renounce:)
