I won't argue the point because it's pretty much impossible to get the truth of anything anymore, but I will say that I wouldn't accept that something is true because Yahoo New says that it's true. I have heard far too many lies from them. Nearly every time they report on an allegation made by Trump or one of his supporters, they feel the need to add "without evidence" and that is patently false. You might argue whether or not you believe the evidence to be compelling, but they are not without evidence. The fact that they feel the need to take a side, even to the point of lying to their audience, makes them an unreliable source of information. This is true of much of the media, including Fox.

I have not exactly heard of them treating cancer with high temperature baths, but I do think that it could help a lot. I remember reading about how people who live in areas where there is a lot of malaria (which brings fever and high temperature) , do not very often get cancer, compared to areas where there is not malaria.
Hyperthermia is used to treat other kinds of illnesses, and especially to kill viruses that also die in a higher temperature. Sadly, many people don’t seem to know that, and as soon as they start to get s small fever, they are taking some kind of aspirin to stop the fever, not realizing that the fever will likely stop the illness, and is not dangerous unless it gets too high.

Before the closed things down at our fitness center, I always sat in the hot tub long enough to slightly raise my temperature (just in case), and then went into the swimming pool, so that the lower temperature could help kill any kind of virus that the heat didn’t kill.

Most of the Yahoo "news" is simply links to other sources. The first link is to a Huffington Post  article and the second is the New York Times.:rolleyes: Since neither of those outstanding news organizations has ever had a kind word about Trump, it's not surprising that the yahoos at Yahoo link to them.

And as for Trump and any other rich person getting better treatment... "duh." Isn't that the way it ALWAYS is? If you've got the means, you get the best.

I agree, but I'm still totally PO'd by that reality. CV19 is nothing to worry about, apparently, if you have the means to get the 3-4 day cure.

A huge public outcry needs to happen, all around the US/world, demanding that the treatments given to the wealthy, which make CV19 seem almost less of a hassle than the common cold, be made available to EVERYONE! Yes, i know, we'll just be told it's too expensive, too time consuming to make in mass quantities. Tough crap! Don't give excuses, get to work on it! We want to see everyone stricken recovering, NOW, just like Trump and his family and buddies!

I don't see any changes coming to that dynamic, TG. The poor have always had the least access to decent medical care, and the rich have the best. The rest of us have to scramble with Dr. Google and an overworked PCP.

Covid19 is something to be tremendously worried about. Each day there are reports on younger people who had to be put in a coma and needed ventilation for a week or longer and who are recovering very slowly with the chances of suffering from long-term side-effects being very high. The vulnerable age group over here is more than 20 million, that's a third of the population.
Where is the public outcry because "even before the official go-ahead has been given, the United States and European countries have signed contracts and secured the rights to billions of doses from several companies, including Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson and Johnson, CureVac, SanofiGSK. If the vaccines all get approval, the European Union has secured more than enough vaccines for its population, even though two doses have to be administered to induce immunity. But what about less affluent countries, which can not afford to make swift direct deals with pharma companies? They will be dependent on COVAX, a program led by the World Health Organization, Global Vaccine Alliance Gavi, and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness."
    https://www.dw.com/en/coronavirus-vaccine-how-to-distribute-it-around-the-world/a-55746075

Why would the EU need so many doses of vaccines if there are so many anti-vaxxers? There was a huge anti-corona demonstration of 20,000 people in the narrow city centre of my home town some time ago also including anti-vaxxers with most demonstrators wearing no masks and keeping no distance.

Securing so many doses would be a waste and the doses should be sent to poorer countries.

Current numbers are higher than in the first wave, as expected, reaching almost 30,000 yesterday and almost 600 dying on a single day. A complete lockdown will be starting on Monday in Saxony to begin with and as of Wednesday in the whole country stretching over Christmas and New Year's Eve to mid-January.

So it all depends on who someone listens to.
In New York, and in Wuhan, there were common supplements that WORKED. (remember them?) . (no?)...
Remember the cleaners that work in eliminating virus and bacterial infections ?

    BUT, apparently,
It is not true that wearing a face mask, as mandated, helps people - the SURGEON GENERAL says so >
He says they are harmful >

Here a news quote and then what the Surgeon General Says /Said/ and many other doctors and scientists also >>>

"For the average person, it’s confusing and frustrating. It’s also a bit frightening, considering that we’ve seen people denounced in public for not wearing a mask while picking up a bag of groceries."

    https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/02/health/surgeon-general-coronavirus-masks-risk-trnd/index.html

Government officials say facemasks aren't necessary

(CNN)US Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams not only wants people to stop buying facemasks to prevent the novel coronavirus, but warns that you actually might increase your risk of infection if facemasks are not worn properly.

"You can increase your risk of getting it by wearing a mask

if you are not a health care provider," Adams said during an interview on Fox & Friends on Monday morning.

"Folks who don't know how to wear them properly tend to touch their faces a lot and actually can increase the spread of coronavirus," Adams said.

"We're certainly seeing more spread in communities,

but it's important for folks to know that right now their risk as American citizens remains low.

There are things people can do to stay safe.

There are things they shouldn't be doing and

one of the things they shouldn't be doing in the general public is going out and buying masks," he said.

On Sunday, Adams posted on Twitter that people should stop buying masks. Rather, he tweeted that to keep yourself and those around you healthy, wash your hands often, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands and disinfect surfaces."

All the viruses were long ago dealt with. Yesterday, and Today, Too,

as We sit, trusting, trusting The Creator, quietly in our homes, churches, meetings, in the fields, in the woods, in caves, around the world....

with no arguing, no bickering, no snickering, nothing unbecoming mature children and mature adults,

discussing what God has done for us today, yesterday, and forever.

We have no worries of disease, warfare, famine, criminals, death, as all in all in Jesus it was all dealt with perfectly.

We learned, not by our own efforts at all (other than being willing, and perhaps always seeking God's Kingdom Truth) ,

we learned by the Father's Revelation to us , each, as Jesus Says in the NT.

    Who are we ?

I think what worked for sars, and for zika, work today as well. Simply
, It might cost $20 to $90, depending on if tested first (non-ama tests).

My brother (82 or 83 years old), my sister-in-law (about the same age), and my nephew (in his 60s) all got COVID-19, and described it as not nearly as bad as the flu. They are not rich. An effective immune system is something that you can have some control over, and it's not obtained through the use of masks.

Well, here’s one group of folks who decided to go WAY against the good Gov. Newson’s edict about crowds......

From what evidence I have researched, masks can actually weaken the immune system to some degree and it makes sense.
Throughout our lives we have been exposed to so many types of harmful bacteria but our body will, by those exposures, build up a stockpile of immunities to them.

This is silliness.... Of course, if you wear a mask, and don't come in contact with a given pathogen/antigen, then you, obviously, never have your body producing antibodies to the blocked (by the mask) pathogen/antigen. What you're hedging your bets on, by going without a mask, is that a given pathogen/antigen will not get the better of your body and lay you low/kill you, even with your body fighting back by producing antibodies and other immune system related responses.

My niece is getting over CV19. It effected her for about a week, like a bad cold, with body aches. My daughter's in-laws had it. They recovered in a week's time. It is a bit odd that those folks we know a lot about, including public figures who are often in the limelight, seem to have no great problems with CV19, once they contract it. I strongly suspect, to this day, as I have from the start, that those who supposedly died from CV19 actually died from other direct causes, and their having CV19 was only coincidental to the pathogenic processes that actually killed them.

In every pandemic that has afflicted this earth in the nearly 71 years that I have been on it, this is the only time I have worn a mask. The only reasons I do it now is: (1) because the businesses I frequent request it and (2) because some folks literally freak out if they see someone not wearing one even when they are outside or in their car.
