Just More of Ken's Nonsense

We’ve been walking everyday , to try to keep up our fitness ,it usually the same route walk down to the beach ,up,the beach to the secret garden , walk through the garden which would be about about 1/4 acre area …then up to the road to the main road walking path that’s recently been established back to home it always shows as 3.2 kms on our watches
It’s far enough for hubs at this stage it’s only just over 2 weeks since he had the pacemaker fitted , it’s strange for years he had really low BP now his BP is to high …and the doctor won’t even hear about signing a form for hubs to apply to get a part drivers licence back

One step at a time Katie.

I am tired. Norway Maple trees are losing their leaves and samaras (helicopter seeds) early because of a fungus, leaving green leaves with black spots on the ground, and most of the seeds are already brown and dropping in clusters rather than individually. I spent much of the day picking them up with a picker stick, which takes longer but is easier and more effective than raking. I picked up four wheelbarrows full today, and that's just what came down since yesterday. I shredded/mulched the leaves, seeds, twigs, and small branches I picked up and added them to my compost pile, along with some grass and wood chips I got from the municipal compost site. That took me from about 10 am until just before dark, with only a couple of bathroom and coffee breaks. I'm not sure why it wore me out so much, though, because while it was long, it wasn't backbreaking work.
