God knows Silvia, but where there's a will there's a way. We can reinvent ourselves without being reliant on the taudry products of China. It will no doubt take pain and time but we can do it. To rejuvenate our old industries leaving China more and more out of the equation.
It was all down to these repugnent long time schemers who have decimated our production facilities.
"Boycott Made in China" signs abound around my daily walk.
    Mea culpa...I walk the path.

The world society is death dealing all along, and society does not correct itself. What it does it does for profit, and worse, as clearly seen throughout all Scripture - The Creator's Own Word and Instructions.

What are we, individuals, instructed to do then ? Trust The Creator. Pray for Peace. Do what is right instead of taking part in what is wrong and evil. Ephesians 5:11-"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them".

There are not nearly enough peace makers to have peace , true peace, in the world. Most countries in the world have been warring for decades or for centuries, even in , before, and after 2017 when it was publicly published on the media that the world is already involved in world war III. If any so-called peace happens , it is under the guise, or control, of something currently insidious, without good nor goodness in it.

"How can we fight this monster "WE"? helpd tocreate"? "We" can stop supporting evil, stop going along with the covid deceivers and warmongers and profitmongers. Stop going along with evil motives in phamrakeia and profiteers.
Intead of going along "having fellowship" with the unfruitful works of darkness, rather expose them, when and as the Creator directs.

Those who have created "this monster" started generations BEFORE we were even born. It is like an open secret - and out in the open they practice their schemes - 'for profit', "for the children", 'for everyone's good', 'for the nation', 'for cancer' (while creating cancer and disease, they pretend to fight it, and make people pay trillions of dollars for what once was free),
'for democracy' ?! as if democracy helped the world or anyone instead of helping the "monster" gain more power.

Again, it is worse already, has been worse, and is getting worse, not better.

All the peace lovers and peace makers in the world are not able to punish the criminals.
Oh, there may be some now and then who can and do - there was one in one of the nations in the sw Pacific a few years ago. About 80 percent of the country was evil-doers though, with destructive intent, and they got him out of office. It was in truth and indeed a miracle he was in office for a while at all.

What you know and doubt does not matter, does it ? The topic is not about common sense.

Who thought or posted you were pushing for the Far West ? (but no, in any case, trust no human, man nor woman)

Fortunately no everybody thinks as the Chinese...otherwise Latin America should take revenge on Spain.[/QUOTE]

"... as the Chinese.." Regardless - many in the USA think or thought vengefully, and other countries it seems even more so.
They all think and act and live in darkness - as the flesh is all that is born of the flesh they do not have to do anything to become flesh, they /we/ are all born in the flesh. And the flesh profits nothing.

Sadly, everything is being made more cheaply to keep prices down making everyone keep buying from China. We should try to go back to quality is job one. Let technology keep prices down. Tariffs?
    No wait. Biden is President.

Even I remember when a home visit by a doctor was only $25 to $50. (and healthy, if the doctor was an honest one)
Technology ? Raised the prices sky high, and opened the door for massive dis-honesty and the sick-causing industry.

    It seems
that WITHOUT technology, China would be almost no threat at all, comparatively.

I haven't had time to get the specifics so I can link them, but in the 1960s the UN decided that "emerging economies" needed a hand in getting access to the global marketplace, so advanced economies entered into an agreement whereby they subsidized domestic freight for businesses in China and in a few other countries. That program is still in place today (of course it is...when do these things ever get rescinded?)

Every single one of us (including businesses) who uses the U.S. Postal Service is subsidizing the cost of domestic freight for Chinese businesses. The same holds true in other countries whose businesses are trying to compete. Not only does China subsidize their businesses, but so do the postal services of every other nation.

To make matters worse, when they sell us crap we wish to return, the consumer has pay full freight to get it back to China, which means we throw the stuff in the trash and just forget about it. So now Chinese businesses can sell non-conforming goods and keep our money, while American businesses are saddled with the costs of processing returns and replacements solely because we're "not happy."

China stopped being an "emerging economy" along time ago. All this sabre-rattling trying to keep them contained as nations concurrently subsidize China's stealing their domestic business. Hmmmm.....

Clinton managed to get China into the WTO in the 1990s as a "developing country", so it was exempt from many of the restrictions placed on other countries. That is when the trouble really began. The U.S. consumer is the largest contributor to the Belt and Road Initiative. Trump brought the irony up several times in speeches, saying, "We should be a developing country, too, as we are trying to develop our economy."

Wanna bet they have "pictures" that compelled Clinton to lobby for that?
Wanna bet he's not the only one in that spot?

They also had him over a barrel with campaign finance, as the Chinese funneled a great deal of money into his campaign through a Chinese restaurant owner in Arkansas.

Those commies may have hurt the Aussie economy with its vile trade and economic coercion but our nation is built of stern stuff as you well know Terence. We have always punched above our weight. We stopped the rampant Japanese war machine in Papua New Guinea in 1942 after they had run ruffshod over Asia, then bombed Darwin and were no doubt eyeing off Australia for invasion .

If the world is thrust into another war you can lay bets my nation will again be there to aid our allies. Christ help us if it ever comes to that tho.

I’ll never ever understand WHY our government allow the Chinese to buy our huge farms and prestige homes in
areas where you can’t buy anything under $30 . Million
They will eventually TRY to take control of our lifestyle …if other nationalities don’t beat them to it

We can vanquish this monster by hitting it where it will hurt the most- the economy.. the one the west built for it.

Australia has already started to find alternate markets for her exports, I expect some other countries that have also "disrepected" Beijing by not kow towing to their intimidation, coercion and bullying are planing on doing the same. As the only democratic super nation with powerful economic muscle the US, along with the Free West has to threaten a mass boycott of Chinese products unless the CCP removes all South China Seas bases, accepts Taiwan, restores democracy to Hong Kong, abandons its nefarious Belt & Road scheme and stops bullying poor south east Asian nations over disputed islands. No doubt this carries with it a certain degree of danger as the Chinese hate losing face. We all know tho what happens if you let a monster run free.. Nazi Germany.. the Japanese Empire.

I understand some dufus leased the port of Darwin to the Chinese for 99 years. What kind of fool would do that to your country? I assume it was a past PM, but I don't know that. It is said it will cast Australia dearly to break that lease.
