Utterly incredible. An entire car, nothing removed, has wheels, tires, muffler, engine, transmission, seats, interior, glass, EVERYTHING.......car is dropped into a giant shredder something like a paper shredder, only the hopper accepting the car is truck-sized.

Not a rapid process, but worth watching to the end: the engine and transmission wind up last to disappear, the torque converter is last thing to go......

Thought this was going to be a story about the Edsel or the Tucker.

I first saw something like this on the Discovery channel and nearly fell out of my chair. Amazing.

I remember that they weren't as efficient in shreddering a car in the old days. They just managed to reduce them in size.

No @Frank Sanoica I'd actually seen a similar video last year. I just thought it was going to be about famous/infamous cars of the past.

Admittedly, this video isn’t about dispensing of an automobile, but the cars in it will be ready for the crusher.

When they apply a like process to the disposing of people, maybe we'll be able to keep a frozen cube of our loved ones home in the fridge.

That was the saddest video ever. That evil machine had to be invented by people that take public transportation,.

They used to crush the cars like we crushed tin cans during WWII. I guess chewing them up is more efficient.
