This Sunday evening and Monday is the holiday of... Yom Kippur... It starts at sunset on Sunday and it ends at sunset on Monday.. It is the MOST holy day of the year for all Jewish people.. A total fast is done from sunset to sunset and one is supposed to go to synagogue to ask God to forgive our sins of the past year..
However with the pandemic, services are either on line or at home but NOT in the synagogue as it is closed..
It is not considered a happy holiday.. Services also include a prayer for the departed members of your family..
To all those that will be observing Yom Kippur, ……. may you have an easy fast...
