It's amazing and disgusting how much they shed!! Pickles has short dark fur but I see it everywhere..constantly...can't keep up with it. I hope my lungs aren't filled with it. :)

It gets in places that baffle me but it must be from transfer. Meaning it gets on me then I take it to places Pickles doesn't go....it even gets in places I don't go...I don't get it. Must circulate through the vents...

One and only reason I wish I didn't have a dog sometimes.

Got both AA and AAA Ultimate Lithium Batteries for my lights on my Vader costume and Lightsaber. Don't want to be in the costume and have any lights go out on me. Have a party to go to next Saturday night. I'm really wondering how much attention my costume will get. My old/cheaper Vader costume got more attention that I really thought. We went to an outside party and it seemed like everyone wanted their picture taken with me.

This costume and alternations cost us enough, so "attention/pictures" is what I hopes happens.

Speaking of Halloween, I was wearing a Halloween jersey yesterday. When I went into the bathroom, it was dark, and looking in the mirror above the vanity, I realized I was glowing. Unbeknownst to me, this shirt glowed in the dark. It was kind of neat, as the pumpkins were glowing. I have had this jersey for at least 5 or 6 years, and I never noticed it before! Funny! You should post a pic of yourself and your wife in your outfits in this group @Cody Fousnaugh

I got started very early this morning after reading a post by @Sandy Wood on outdoor lighting. I respnded to that thread which lead me on to conjur up lighting for the other side of the house. I went to my supply of wood pieces, gathered all my tools, nails, spray paint, etc. and got to work. It took about an hour or so to finish mainly to let the paint dry before nailing it under the kitchen window. It is similar to the one in the photo but the condition is not as prestine.

Looking good! Yes, I can see that it would get hot in that. Never heard of an "Ice vest", interesting.

How long does it keep you cool?

The Ice Vest works ok, but I really have to wring the water out of it enough or it will end up soaking my t-shirt and dripping into the jump suit.
One thing for sure, I'm not as tall as David Prowse (main Darth Vader actor). He is like 6'9" and I'm 6'1". When he played the part, he was a body builder and done some competition in it. Me, well you know.......I'm a Senior and definitely not a body builder. LOL

BTW, the Chest Box (on my chest) totally lights up, as well as the two boxes on my belt. Way, way outdoes my last Vader costume, but definitely more expensive.

I believe it, I posted a Darth Vader costume on another post and that one was over $600!

I'm painting a bedroom today, it's a small one. I have been procrastinating and now that the weather has changed and I'm inside more I'm tired of looking at it. Earlier my grandson and I removed the wallpaper from two of the walls. I've patched nail holes and decided on the color of paint. Most of my plants will be in this room because it gets lots of sunlight. I will also be having a sewing area and a computer in there.

What color did you decide on @Von Jones? Paint colors can make such a difference. I like to look at homes for sale, and I'm often surprised by the paint color choices. At one point, it seemed everyone was painting their dining room red, then orange seemed to be in vogue. I don't care for either, but then again, I don't often follow trends. I toy with the idea of painting one or more walls in this place, but there always seems to be something else I need to do instead.

It is between a tan and beige. I still can't get my pictures to upload. I'm going to paint the closet door and frame dark green and then there is a cabinet that is also going to be painted green and the baseboards and window frames will be white.

I like having a bold color accent and the green just kept calling me and I figured out why. I have two round area rugs that have a green background that I purchased from Walmart a long time ago on sale. I kept them stored away. I have all these ideas on decorating this room now that it's painted, well partially painted. I'm excited, can you tell?

Okay, good @Von Jones, so it's not just me having an issue uploading pictures. I was thinking perhaps it was a glitch with my new (refurbished) computer, but maybe it's with the site and/or the internet attacks. I'm going to try adding one to this post to see if I'm still having the issue today. I love green. If I owned this place, I'd repaint at least the trim, front door and balcony green, blue, or teal. They're currently an ugly rust color, one of my least favorites in the world. I'd actually prefer a bright red to the one they used. I hope you can upload pictures. If I painted inside, I might do an eggshell or pale yellow on one of the walls, and maybe lavender, pale blue, or green as an accent wall in the bedroom. Yes, I can tell you're excited, and I'm excited for you. I can't wait to see what you do, and how it comes out :D.

Okay, I tried to upload a file here using Upload A File, and nothing happened. It was just like clicking any regular blank space on the page @Ken Anderson @Admin. Sorry if you're already working on this issue. I thought perhaps the issue had resolved itself, but it hasn't.

There is nothing to be done on my end. The forum isn't showing any errors or problems to be fixed, and it's not something I can duplicate on this end. You can either use the "Upload a File" button or you can drag and drop the photo in the Reply field. If you are dragging and dropping, first click into the Reply box.

Okay, thanks. It's not acting the same as it was before, that's why I thought there might be an issue. I'll try dragging and dropping next time I have something to attach.
