I could understand if it was marijuana because there is a lot of people who have been put in prison for a small amount for their own use. These were people with meth which I could not understand.
@Martin Alonzo The worst law is the "3 strikes your out" law, requiring the judge to impose life in prison, for 3 felony convictions, no matter how trivial. Judges have actually apologized to the guilty, for having to impose it. In think California had it, do not know if it was repealed. Frank
That is what you get by putting the prisons in private hands. They start crying that the jails are not full and push judges to fill them .
