Wife has a glass of Zinfandel and I have either a 16-oz or a 32-oz stein of Beer.

We toast with a smile before the salads arrive.

I speak Spanish with Juan, our favorite waiter at the Steer & Stein.

You obviously have my post confused with Cody’s post.
I gave examples of wine as it was advertised for the Super Bowl and other NFL games which somewhat refutes the idea that people who watch the NFL only drink beer.

In other words, I was agreeing with you (dern it) when you disagreed with Cody’s analysis of who drinks wine and who doesn’t!
Goes to show that one shouldn’t take his meds with his wine.

Wine puts me to sleep. I do like the taste of some homemade wine. I do drink it occasionally but only a few sips. I much prefer bourbon.

I think I've answered this question recently, but that's okay. I have tasted some red wines that I liked, but I drink wine so seldom that I can never remember which kinds I like. Maybe a couple of times a year, I'll buy a bottle of wine, but most of the time it's not what I was hoping for. I can't drink more than a half a glass of wine in a sitting, anyhow.

    I am a Wine Slob!

I judge wine by its alcoholic content, not its "bouquet" or "aroma". I don't let it "breathe"...I just swallow it rapidly to get high!

This is why I've always liked Port or Muscatel (which is the favorite of Winos) because they have a high alcoholic content, allowing a quick high!

Those weak Zinfandels and Chardonnays and Merlots are for "proper" snobs who sip with their pinkies extended!

I drink my Wine like I drink my Beer...in hearty gulps!

Those sweet wines with high alcohol content are the First Choice of the Street Wino's that we see drinking from news paper wrapped bottles. and their pinkies are usually in their nose.
If I wanted to get a bit high I would drink some good Single Malt Scotch with a fore finger in my ear.

If your main object is getting high/drunk, wine is not the "weapon of choice". Choose something stronger. It may well be cheaper as well.

A couple of cans of Lysol in a bucket of water is pretty cheap and from what I understand, it nearly instantly does the trick.

@Bobby Cole you may remember that they keep most of that, and all the extracts (vanilla, etc) under lock and key in Bush Alaska.
