Videos can be openers for conversations I find, @Patsy Faye plus I absorb a lot of new knowledge through them, and process it unconsciously during the following days/nights, which is a good workout for my mind I believe..
Fair enough, but once I've read or seen something, I come on here to discuss what I've seen Its like watching a film, I may think its wonderful and recommend to others and they hate it. Its the same with the videos, no discussion unless I watch the video first
LOL it looks like there's already a whole bunch of people in Utah trying to legally be allowed to love everyone.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/ushome/index.html (sorry Terry I can't watch those videos the blokes voice gets on my nerves, he sounds like the narrator from films we got in class in the 2nd year... )
I guess it's the old "one's man meat........" saying I guess @Holly Saunders,........ I do actually like his voice..... The Daily Mail style of journalism makes me cringe, it's to me the lowest point in journalism so never go near it, though Lisa likes the gossip part of it ........
Not for me Terry I logged in and saw 'two' new threads - Yippee ! I thought I go into them - no posts, just videos - the yippee faded ........... Surely its better to do a post 'followed' by a video so that people can watch if the post interests them ............
OK fair enough @Patsy Faye point taken ...................I tend to be more visual at times, though I can talk a lot, mainly nonsense though not really relevant to this forum ....rather than write a couple of pages of my feelings, which the video summed up for me I posted the video instead, being lazy
Yes - I don't blame you for feeling lazy after all yer hard work lately But I'm glad you see my point Terry
Yes I feel a lot of us have a hunger for talk/conversation @Patsy Faye , I know I do if I have been on my own for a while, these days I am rarely alone and being a very fast talker (my Gemini trait).... I exhaust myself as well as everyone around me ........ so I need a lot of time to my own thoughts, which I can get through decorating and walking....and listening to lots of music of course...
I totally agree with you about this, @Patsy Faye . I mostly don't look at the video if someone only posts that with no comment about it, and the same thing when it is just a title and a link to somewhere on the internet. Assuming that other people might look at this the same way, I try to at least sum up what the video is about, and usually give my opinion about the topic while I am doing that. Most of the time, the post is to say what I wanted to say, and the video is only to explain it further. I am pretty open-minded and will listen and think about almost any topic, because I love discussions (providing they do not turn into arguments), and by having an open discussion everyone can learn from it.
Thanks for your post Yvonne - nice to know I'm not alone with this I want to know what a person thinks about a subject - posting a video tells me nothing So, please - post first then add a video if its relevant
