Here's another reason God is real to me. Just as it says in His Word, He is knitting together in my daughter's womb my 8th grandchild.
I'm truly sorry for your earthly loss of your Beloved @Chrissy Page. Even if I lose my Beloved to this earthly life, as a believer my faith and confidence gives me assurance that my Beloved will just be waiting for me in our eternal life with God our Father. I have that peace and assurance with all my loved ones that have passed from this earthly life...that I will see them again and there will be no more death or tears.
Just kidding you here but I bet my husband has already hooked up with his first wife who has also died.
Since God is Love, all those who are with Him now also will love the way God loves because we will be like God when we are in eternity with Him. So yes, in a way, your husband may love his former wife in eternity with the love of God...just as he will love you in the same way when you two meet again. You might want to think of it in this way. If you married again here on earth, you would love your new husband, just in a different way than you loved your first husband. That love although different... would be just as much love as love is Chrissy.
I'll take your word for it Babs because so far I've only loved one man like I loved my husband. I'm starting to run out of time finding another...
You may not have another husband here on this earth @Chrissy Page, only God knows if you do. But He has blessed you with others in your life that love you very much...you are blessed here on earth and you are loved.
For this reason you might want to close your eyes and think about the most perfect "gifts" you have received in your lives. And when you have them clearly in your minds...think on this:
You are welcome Chrissy...and if your heart desires another husband while on this earth then I pray God will gift you with the desire of your heart.
God is real to me because He proves over and over again that He is in control of our weather just as His Word says. Four days ago the News weather people with all their tech equipment told us each day how much rain, etc. we were going to have each day of those 4 days. And yet...here it is the 5th day when there was no more warnings of heavy rainfall....God has opened the heavens and brought forth the rain that He controls. Jer 10: 13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
