Why do you think we have the emotion of love? I know part of the emotion has to do with procreation, and family unity, but there seems to be more to it than that. Other than those two reasons why do you think we love? We have love of people, animals, things, even of ideas, but why? I have thought of this many times, and I have come up with many possible reasons. I understand that part of the emotion of hate is for protection, desire helps us to search, happiness shows us contentment, but why love? What are your thoughts on this emotion?
Because God is Love. And He is the one that gave us that emotion. Love is the greatest gift He gave us and the greatest gift we can give to one another.
The word love has many meanings too. Like love of flowers or love of pets then there is a love between husband and wife...the world is certainly better with the love of humanity and kindness to being compassionate. The love of veggie bacon has made me healthier!
