Which Is The Worst, Death Or Divorce Of Your Spouse?

    I think they can be similar, if you are in the unfortunate situation of being divorced when you are still in love with your spouse and have your life upended. I have never been widowed but I have been divorced and it is a painful experience.

    My son lost his wife almost 2 years ago, as well, Von and still has terrible moments. There were no children, but he's going some emotional roller coaster moments. He has a bereavement group who is most supportive as well as a grief counselor helping him. He's clinging to me less and less now which is good. So, time passes and we help as much as we can. Prayers for your boy, Von.

    Thank you @Lois Winters. I haven't suggested grief counseling to my son. He feels strongly about moving back home where family lives and that is all the support that he wants. He has been away since he was 18 years old.
