Why won't you eat it @Chrissy Cross ?...it's probably the nicest red meat IMO.... a good balance of fat and meat..rather than game for example..and not dry and stringy like pork or Turkey

    Just don’t like the taste.

I’m not a big meat eater anymore....sick of beef and eat it rarely. Had a small piece of beef tenderloin at my daughter’s and that will last me until next year.

Once in awhile I’ll crave a good hamburger but that’s rare also.

I eat mostly chicken and mainly for the protein.

I'm the same tbh..I've really gone off red meat in the last year or 2.. and like you I only eat chicken for the protein, but I'm beginning to really dislike chicken now. I got this lamb just before Christmas at a bargain price, in the butchers, so there's 10 chops I think, and they will last me for the rest of the year! I like lamb better than any red meat but not enough to eat it every week...

Anyway I've put the lamb on now, added shredded white cabbage and butter beans in a lam and red wine gravy.. so it'll be ready in about 20 minutes...

Pork and turkey is only dry and stringy if you over cook it. I'm not a big fan of game meat although my mom could cook a deer roast and make it taste just like a beef roast and I would eat the deer meat that way. I do light teal duck meat too as it is a light tasting meat. From what you have said I don't think I would care for lamb...but if ever I am somewhere where someone has cooked some I will try a bite to satisfy my curiosity. :)

I have been having a large salad , usually around lunch time, because it is important to get my greens; but the other day I was thinking that it had been a very long time since I had had French dressing with my salad. So, this morning, I made a pint of French dressing, and had that with my lunch salad, which is my main meal of the day.

Haven't had French dressing in a long time. Sounds good.

For dinner, I'm having pasta salad. I usually add tuna or salmon.
Penne Pasta with black olives, chopped onions and petite broccoli florets sauteed in evoo, feta cheese, peas, and a little parmasan cheese.

    * I'll cook the vegetables in the oven, rather than stove top. It's easier.

I just had a chicken and cheese quesadilla on a low carb tortilla for lunch...it was delicious.

Might have another one for dinner...maybe add some more stuff to it.

Probably enjoyed it so much because I haven’t had one in a year at least.

Tonight is steak salad night .. but I will have grilled chicken on mine. It's big .. lots of fresh vegies topped with sliced grilled steak (or chicken) then topped with a big handful of hot french fries .. yummy !

A cold wet day today got me in the mood for clam chowder. I made what I guess you could call Southern style New England clam chowder, I added okra.

Pepperoni pizza with sauteed onions and peppers.
The pepperoni is home-made and the crust is a tortilla shell, barely toasted before adding toppings.

First time I made home-made pepperoni (doesn't look like pepperoni, but tastes and smells fantastic).
