@Denise Happyfeet , thanks for video, it makes you think twice about age, I wish I was that flexible. You are a good example of what a person can do as we grow older. It wouldn't surprise me if you could do all of those the different tasks in the video. Now that you've had time to settle into your new home, have you set up a regiment of exercise that you are following? It seems everytime I try to do that, I end up sick within a week or two. So, what's your secret?
Yes good video Denise, I can remember when I was in my teens thinking people in their late 20s were old, each decade I have moved it forward, now old is over 90 and beyond I don't do any exercise as such, but often walk 5 or more miles a day, plus some gardening and DIY.
I'm pretty flexible still as long as it doesn't involve my back. Can still do the lotus position in yoga and maybe a few others. I can do this one still.
@Chrissy Page , I too can do that position, but I have very bad balance, and I get vertigo at least once a day. You do a lot more than I do. Maybe it's having those grand babies that keeps you young and mobile. Other than your back problems, do you have anything else that limits your ability to do what you want? I think you have a youthful attitude that helps you keep up your health. How do you keep up the youthful attitude?
It's a nice video but how many of us are actually able to do the things those older people did? They are the exceptions rather than the rule. But, still, old is somebody ten years older than I am.
I like the video and thanks for posting it! Lots of people don't know what we can do, we Seniors are quite active! Thanks so much for the video!!!
