Happy Thanksgiving! Lyrics: I was blind, now I'm seeing in colour I was dead, now I’m living forever I had failed, but You were my Redeemer I’ve been blessed beyond all measure I was lost, now I’m found by the Father I’ve been changed from a ruin to treasure I’ve been given a hope and a future I’ve been blessed beyond all measure I am counting every blessing Counting every blessing Letting go and trusting When I cannot see I am counting every blessing Counting every blessing Surely every season You are good to me You were there in the valley of shadows You were there in the depth of my sorrows You're my strength, my hope for tomorrow I’ve been blessed beyond all measure Surely Your goodness pursues me Surely Your heart is still for me I will remember Your mercies All my days Through every storm and gale
Good for you Joe, adding a post like this. I wish I'd thought of it myself since I am constantly working on my music video collection and seeking recos from others. Like many things in life though, I am very picky with my music, so its a rare treat for me when I discover a new video/song that makes my favorites list. I scan hundreds upon hundreds of Christian songs that have great words and worship value, but find very few with a tune that pleases me. Here's a new one I discoverd lately that I'd like to share:
When I saw the name of your song, @Joseph Carl , I thought it was this version; but yours is a completely different song.
Yvonne, I found your song after discovering mine and also thought it was a completely different one. But, it is in fact the same tune and words, but Shane and Shane have definitiely spruced it up with a bluegrass version that I really like. Here's two more serious, great tunes worth sharing that came out this year:
Well Joe, this thread isn't gathering the interest that I'd expect, but I'll add one more timely song for those that might appreciate it. Here's a lesser known, uplifting Christmas song with a good tune and message:
Oh, when you wrote that you didn’t like Christian music, you meant you would rather it be in Hebrew. Lemme guess. Since you always wish to interrupt a Christian thread, you just want to be included and you’re actually making a declaration that you’re coming out of the closet! No need to be embarrassed, we’ve all been there. Okee Dokee.. Here’s one of my personal favorites.......It’s not all Hebrew but some of it is.....
