Very nice, Holly!
Have you seen the latest in women's footwear?
I like to shop the up scalp secondhand stores in my area. I have food very good deals in these stores and that is the first place I go when I need something special and different.
@Holly Saunders , looking lovely! It's funny we have the same coloring and yet I'm lost if I wear red.
OMG LOL>..I presume you could just fill them with ice if you're feet got hot after a while...
These socks would go well with those flip flops, Ruby. Something that would be useful in Fresno's weather.
Thanks muchly Chrissy... I'm good with red, and royal to navy blues..and all pastels colours, and given I'm so blonde you would think I wouldn't suit lemon but I do.....but I can't wear Grey or green, or wine/burgundy colours .. they make me look really ill...
I've just realised this thread is in 'help requests''. think Ken might want to change it somewhere else...
I don't do well in grey or pastels. Yes, lemon works well for me also.
I think it was intended as a suggestion for a new topic, which might have been posted in the New Topics thread.
I just found this thread. You were talking about expensive purses. I've only bought an "expensive" purse once in my life. I paid $100 for it at TJMaxx…I know that's nothing compared to the designer labels you discussed but at the time I considered it expensive. I will never buy an expensive purse again. Here's why...
So I took my expensive purse on my first visit to New York City and left it in the hotel room the first 2 days because I knew that tourists were a target especially wearing expensive things. On the third day I decided that New Yorkers are all such friendly people so I took my purse out with me. You guessed it. I was robbed. My bright red coat probably didn't help either because I stuck our like a clueless tourist in the city. Our 4 Broadway tickets for that night were in there too….not to mention money and credit cards. I did speak to the skeptical theater manager that night about "Cats" seats without my tickets and he reluctantly let us sit in the balcony.
Ruby, your photo of the Water Bottle Shoes above reminds me of this
Exactly my point re the bags Lara....I would be terrified, that just by having an expensive bag it would make me a target....It's absolutely sickening when you've been robbed isn't it?...a horible, horrible feeling!!
Lmao@ those boob water bags... can you imagine that weight around your neck?
Ken will you be moving this thread or would you prefer we started another one on Fashion elsewhere?
Sorry Ken, I didn't know about the sub-forum New Topics and you are right it was intended as a suggestion for a new topic.
These are great photos Holly. You, and all the women on this board, are awesome.
@Ike, you just let the cougar out in me yi yi yi
Thank you kind sir, you're a pretty awesome guy yourself...
Not a big deal. Later, I'll add this as a suggestion in the New Topics forum and move this to a discussion area. Meanwhile, just carry on.
…and here's a toast to you, Ike, for being so awesome yourself.
Hi Ladies. , I loved reading all your conversations. you all are classy ladies!!. im just and old country gal and have not worn a dress in eons,. not even to church any more. My small 5'2" frame has been blown out of proportion I guess you would say.. I wear just jeans and or nice slacks for dress up..Of course something on top too...

I myself don;t even carry a purse anymore just a snap close Ladies wallet is all I ever use now a day.. .. ..
too funny about the flip flop socks , who knew? lol..
and hilarious water bra filled with gold fish..
How about something to keep you warm in the winter with theses scarves.
That pic is so funny Louise! I don't wear dresses either anymore, I much prefer nice slacks and pretty blouses; jeans and tops and white cotton crop pants in summer.
Flip flop socks! Now I've seen everything. ROFL!
I have never been to keen on flip flops myself. My feet always get so dirty and not to mention rocks or pebbles that manage to get in between. It's funny though I have one pair of sandles that I love but I don't wear them that much, go figure.
I hate flip flops and sandals with that thing between the great toe and the next toe. I just cannot stand the feel of it. I wear sandals all summer, but the kind without that toe thing. I don't know what it's called.
