Thanks...Looks like I will be here often...
Welcome to the forum. It's good to have you with us. I sent you a private message about one thing that you should know.
Thank you sir...If that is what is required so be it..
Welcome my friend, great to see you here, I just joined a few days ago too.. still finding my way around
Ken, hope I did everything right this time.. Was given some misinformation or I took information the wrong way.. thought any name was appropriate .
Also I kept getting emails from all the games I played today. hope I clicked on the right thing to stop any more showing up.. Still learning all the ropes here..
That is perfectly fine. Thanks. It's good to have you here.
Thanks, Ken, for handling whatever the 'puter glitch was that delayed my confirmation as a member of the forum. Hopefully, you don't regret that assistance!!!!
Was invited to join and will test the waters. 69 years old. Married almost 50 years to the same beautiful lady. Three great kids and 8 grandkids. Both daughters will soon celebrate their 20 year wedding anniversaries. Son is in the military and is still married to his first love.
Born and raised quite conservative. May have "strayed" somewhat from that political moniker. Love our Country. The U.S. is still the best place on God's Green Earth. I do get upset at those who continue to spend eons bashing our government. Instead of trying to "earn your Conservative Card", get off your behind and work to get those who would be better legislators elected to office. If you speak one sentence defining a problem with our government, speak two or three of possible solutions.
Sorry! Am still working full time about six months/year. So, when working won't be posting much. When off work, will try to spend more time on the forum.
I am doing some low-level Facebook advertising for a couple of days, so please wear your nice clothing and smile a lot, pretend to be sociable and act like you don't all hate one another, and maybe we can con someone into actually registering for an account. Quite a few people have come to the forum from the ad, but so far we haven't had any new registrations from it. I'll have to figure out who to blame later.
I look heavenly.
We're still getting Facebook visitors, so everyone wave, please.
Hello Facebook visitors! Seriously, register and say hello (well, if you're over 50, that is!) This is the greatest group of people I've had the pleasure of getting to know online... hands down. And I've been online for.. hmm... around 20 or 21 years if not a few more! Oh my... that was a shock.
But anyhow, looking forward to seeing some new faces here.
Okay, I'm "waving."
Yes, this is the NICEST senior forum on the whole internet. I know.
Just a few minutes ago I saw that we had 100 people online....WOW!
... Hello visitors!
That's a lot of guests. My Facebook ad expired earlier today so I don't know if it might have been still ongoing when you captured that screenshot. Hackers also show up as guests, but I am not getting any warnings about large-scale hacking attempts, as I generally do. We did have one new membership registration today, but I don't know what the origins were yet.
I took the screen shot about 3 mins before I posted it, so not too long ago.
There's a seat for everyone... come join us.
We got several visits the last time I tried Facebook advertising, and may have gotten one new registration from it, so I'm trying it again for a couple of days.
Seven different graphics will alternate with the same wording, and it's only going to run for today and tomorrow. As opposed to regular posts, sponsored ads can be targeted to a specific demographic, such as English-speaking people fifty years old or older, and they will show up in the news feeds of people who aren't related to your friend's list or that of your friends. Like everything else on Facebook, people often "like" it but never visit the site.
Okay, back to nice clothing, a smile and pretend to be sociable ... Got It!!
I was going to share it on my Facebook page but I didn't want my family looking in here.
Also a few Facebook friends I wouldn't want to see here either.
