Seriously, this does look like him, and any guy who is nutty enough to wear a pink vagina hat could be dangerous.

Discussion of the tragic event can be made in the original thread in the News section, while this thread is about any conspiracy theories that might come up about the shooter, etc.

Yes, I know that site is anti Trump but the sites you post are anti left. 2 extremes that I personally can't stand.

Both put out fakes news and ridiculous stories.

I'm very tired of the extremes in our country...on both sides. All these you tube videos made without any proof and could be any yahoo making them and yet they're passed on and shared as if they are true.

Everybody believes the fake news from their side and that's why the world is so divided and such a mess.

I wish everyone just stuck to the facts.

I'm seriously thinking taking a break from forums and reading comments anywhere. Just being less online in general.

That's the problem with the internet, it's so difficult to separate fact from fiction....

Yep and the far right is just as guilty as the far left in spreading fake news. Since my views are a mixture of left and right, I see it all the time.

Perhaps that's true in real life, too.

The left is so happy this guy was white. They can drag out he is a white supremacist but that won't work because he shot mostly white people if not all. The audio from the police scanners goes all over the place from more than one shooter to more than one location? Audio experts claim there was more than one gun firing? How convenient that he committed suicide before the police entered no one can ask questions? Could he have been killed earlier and placed there? All these questions will never be answer by the main street press. They are only interested in finding enough people to bring up banning guns again.

They didn't have the exact location of the room.
There was more than one gun..he ran from room to room.

You're generalizing, Martin without facts to support you're statements.

Have you been in any of these hotels in Vegas? They're huge and very crowded.

Well, if it stops these conspiracy theories like this and Sandy Hook, I'm all for banning guns because it sickens me to read that it's all the anti gun people's fault...why can't it just be what it seems. A person who snapped for whatever reason.

Ive been pro gun my whole adult life but reading these CT's makes me think maybe they are right. People who think sandy hook was a hoax shouldn't have guns in my opinion.

And with that...I'm out of this post and all posts for awhile. This stuff makes me too angry...

The most likely scenario is that he was mentally ill, probably in his DNA. However, he had to have trained for this. His brother said he was not a gun guy, and I can tell you that you don’t pick up a gun for the first time and do that well with it. People who are unfamiliar with guns can’t even figure out how to load them, and that’s simpler guns than he was using.

My daughter is friends with someone who knows this couple. This was their happy selfie from Vegas right before all hell broke loose. I'm sick of the far left and far right trying to make political points with this.

They didn't die but he got shot in the stomach and she was grazed by a bullet in the head. I don't know their politics but think they are democrats but I could be wrong. I don't live that far from Vegas and have been there many times, so this hit me hard and the responses make me angry.

To me it's all about the humanity and how people helped each other in that moment, not about outlandish claims that it was a set up!

There are plenty of people out there that have a separate life their family doesn't even know about. We hear these statements all the time, like "he/she just couldn't do something like this", "he/she is a very loving, kind, generous person", and on and on.

Turns out, the family doesn't know the person like they say they do.

Not so much for me. I've had some people tell me that I think too negative, but I look at them and say "no. My thoughts are more in the "reality" area. I think both positive and negative."

My SIL asked me last night on the phone, "why did this happen?". I said, "how in the heck do I know!" She has asked me this question before about some other tragic event and I've gave her the same answer. I've also told her "America has a number of nut cases in it and there's very little that can be done about it."

And, in case nobody has heard/read this, ISIS is taking credit for this AND the shooter wired $100,000 to someone in the Philippines. Authorities are checking that out also.

Was Vegas an FBI sting gone bad? Theories abound.

You can also argue that it was Trump's people...it certainly detracted from Puerto Rico and other things he was dealing with at the time.

He did get high marks for his reaction and his trip to Vegas...and most of the news was about Vegas and still is.

I believe it was simply done by him and all by himself ....he was getting to the end of his rope, I think his lifestyle was catching up to him and he was getting older and just didn't have the energy anymore.

Everything seemed to be connected to gambling....all the freebies etc.

Don't think he could sustain the 14 hr gambling habit much longer.

The media is interviewing people who were there and telling them what happened. There has been people who came forward after being interviewed by media and said there was more than one shooter and the media telling them that was not true. It is funny these people were there and the media was not. Something is being covered up by the media they shut down anyone who maybe has a different opinion.

There's no proof of that. In a situation like that ...it might sound like more than one shooter.

More likely, as we tend to do, the media felt the need to make up a story that fit the information they had. When contradictory information was put to them, they are in the position of having to change their story. If so, I'd rather they simply report the information that they have and let others make sense of it, or not. I doubt that a lot sense can be made of someone deciding to shoot hundreds of people.

Ive only watched Fox News on this and Ive noticed some of the guests on the show get info wrong.

I have read about it online from other media sources but watched the press conferences from Vegas live on fox.

Also, the commentary on different shows on Fox and Ive caught mistakes. One was about the Valium and mother about his drinking.
