It's one of my favorite films and I watched it again last night. I loved the British actress Audrey Hepburn and that pixie look of hers. It's a film from the 1960's.

One of my all-time favorites. They called it "the thinking man's western". I've watched it maybe 10 times or more and every time I do, I pick up something I hadn't before. Love the themed music, love the acting.

War & Peace was an extravaganza of a film that cost six million dollars to make.
Casts, horses & soldiers by the thousands Beautifly filmed.

The best part of that film is watching Jack Elam trying to blow a fly off his bearded face.

.... read the book, not seen the movie. It was so long ago I don't remember much of it except I recall it as incredibly long.
