I almost won the Iowa powerball lottery Wednesday night. I only needed 5 more correct numbers. So close.
LMAO, I actually have come that close myself with the lottery. But than for that matter who hasn't. But hey hang in there, someone has to win right. Your time could be right around the corner.
Some years back, my wife had 5 out of 6 numbers in the NYS lottery. The number she missed was 21. She had 22. 17 million was almost in the bank. Anyway, she ended up with $1,800.
Wednesday night I only had 1 right number out of 6. I was just being sarcastic, as always. I only buy 1 ticket a week. It wouldn't be as much fun winning now, since I'm too old to do all the things I used to love doing. Some of those things was even legal.
After my bloodwork, I filled up my car with gas in preparation for my drive tomorrow. By the way it was $2.89 at Chevron by my house. Anyway, I bought a $2 powerball ticket for saturdays drawing! I havent played lotto in years, so maybe I'll be lucky...dont even know what the jackpot is.... If I do win I will send every member here a Christmas present!
This may be out of line but I just want to share. My colleagues neighbor was suspected to have won the lotto here because the family had suddenly left, leaving the house to a distant relative who wouldn't say anything about the whereabouts of the family. Another colleague has a suspected neighbor because of the sudden riches like new cars, remodeling of the house, new appliances and the clothes of the family have changed for the branded ones. I wonder how those people feel with the millions. I am buying lotto tickets once in a while with the hope of hitting it big. But right now, all I have is a hit of 3 numbers so that's for a consolation prize.
Ike it's so funny you talked about the lottery! When I saw the heading, "Wahoo," my first thought was, "Oh wow! I'll bet Ike won the lottery!!" LOL At least I had part of it right. Keep on trying! Maybe you'll only need 4 numbers next time.
