I thought those faulty registration of voters happen only in our country. Although that case there is about illegal aliens who were able to register as a voter, over here the case if the multi-registration so they can vote many times. What they do is to use the name of fictitious persons or maybe dead persons. However, in the recent election this year, our comelec has used the so called biometrics that show the photo and the finger prints of the voter for verification on the election day. I hope that is a good safeguard for cheating. In the case of those illegal residents, I guess they need to be deported for that fraudulent registration they made.
