Vanilla Wafers

I made some vanilla wafers yesterday. It wasn't a big batch but too many for the two of us to eat all at once....but we did. My tummy was hurtin'

 

Ummmmm, I bet they were good.

 

I love Vanilla wafers, but I can't eat more than 2 or I get stomach ache... never made my own tho'...you got a recipe Sheldon...

 

I found this online....so simple even I could make them. I double the amount of vanilla.

The recipe seems very delicious. I buy Vanilla Wafer Cookies or vanilla wafer cookies too and I love them. I'm getting very lazy to bake these days. Walgreens and Walmart got those dollar or .98 cookies so I grab them when they're on shelves. Most of the times they are gone though.

 

Making your own vanilla wafers, sounds a little tedious to me. The boxed ones are just fine, and I don't have to eat the whole box at once. They make a nice pie crust with a pudding filling.

 

I'm so glad you posted a link to the recipe, I was about to ask for it. Vanilla Wafers are one thing that have always been on my mental baking bucket list. Maybe this will be the year I'll actually try making them!
