Movies and TV seem to think music is required in EVERY scene. It didn't used to be that way. It often messes with the conversations. It is sometimes blaring and aggravating. Maybe I'm just old, but dialogue and settings should usually stand by themselves without a constant over whelming sound track. Look how effective sound over works when done properly a la Psycho (shower) and Jaws (shark imminent) and Rocky mounting the steps. Sound should be used to enhance if needed, not to distract.
