Good Morning, Y'all. It's looking stormy again today, so I'm going to hunker down and get some work done here, then relax. Hope everyone has a good day. I'm thankful for my freedom, bought and paid for by our military heroes.

This has been the wettest year I can remember. Just one storm after another.

Good Morning, Y'all. The sun is actually shining, at least for now! I think I've gotten all of the clocks reset. You'd think in this day and age, they'd all reset themselves, but I have some that don't. @Sheldon Scott I remember a year like this back in the 80s, I thought the storms would never end. I sure hope this isn't a preview of Hurricane Season!

Good morning, Y'all! The sun is shining, and I've already been down to the beach. It's amazing what the tide brings in during storms, there are big logs on the beach, as well as in the water. There are pools of water all the way up to the grass line at the back of the beach, past the sand, so I guess I was wise to stay away until the storms passed.

Right now in Poland the weather is fatal, it is raining so much. :(
Either way I must prepare to walk my dog.

It's been hot and humid here. I spent a lot of the day yesterday in the boat cutting limbs from a big tree that fell into the lake last month. I was planning to continue today so I left the boat at the edge of the water with everything in it. Then an unexpected storm came up so I had to go out in it and remove the trolling motor, battery and such and turn the boat over. I need to listen to the weather reports more often.

Coffee's ready. Come over and get a cup.

@Sheldon Scott, Well I'm having my first cup of iced coffee, (my current crave), so I'll join you from afar.

Sorry you had to take a soaking, but I too have a small boat and rigging, so I understand the necessity of securing all. My boat was my father's, so I've had it a long time. It is and 18' aluminum flat bottom with an old Mercury moter that still runs. I've spent many an hour scouring the San Jacinto river for whatever treasures the river wanted bring my way. Do you spend a lot of time on that lake of yours?

It really cannot be considered a good morning because it is rainy with visibility zero at times due to the heavy downpour. On my way to the office this morning, I had expected the traffic but not that heavy. And since it was raining so it is cold and when it is cold, the condensation affects the bladder. And I felt like passing water already but the nearest gas station is still quite far. Nothing can be done but to try and control my bladder from exploding until I finally reached the gas station.

There was no area to park but I had to go especially when I saw the open door of the women's comfort room. I espied an attendant and motioned him to come near me. Take note, it was raining so hard. I told the attendant that I would leave the car for a moment in the middle of the pathway for I had to go to the bathroom. It was a surprise that the attendant not only said yes but even escorted me with his umbrella. Whew, that was really close.

Now, that's a real good morning amid the rains, isn't it?

It's not morning anymore, but I hope everyone's having a great afternoon. Since I cooked last night, I don't have to do that today, and my errands are all finished already, so I'm home in the cool house, listening to someone doing yard work. Poor person, it's very hot out today, around 94.

@Diane Lane, I haven't been in my boat since my husband fell ill the first of the year 2012. For me it takes two people to scour the river banks properly. One for steering, and one for spying the treasures. When I move to the Sam Houston National Forrest where my brother lives, I will have someone to go boating with again. He too likes to do this. He is only 11 months older than I, and we dwere running up and down river and bayous since we were small children.
