Knowing most people want to follow the impeachment specially the vote well on the 17 of December William Barr was to go on TV and explain the Story Wednesday at 7 PM.
Just amazing that the Democrats just changed [revised] their time for the vote to 7PM.
    Coincidence??

I do doubt that there’s any coincidence to it mainly because I really do not believe in coincidences as much as many do.
I’m sure though that FOX will probably ask Barr to show up on Monday or Tuesday to give his rendition of the proceedings and then Barr can do it again at the scheduled time.

Of course, I could be all wrong but somebody is certainly clambering to get the AG to go on their show earlier than the previously scheduled time slot.
If not, okay but I believe it would be a smart move unless of course, Barr has a few indictments to process and it’s going to take until Wednesday to get them all together.

The latest one is that they are trying to get rid of Wendy’s, because a franchisee donated to President Trump’s campaign . This is seriously ridiculous ! It was not even the whole corporation leaders who supported our great president, just someone who has a Wendy’s franchise.
Even so, Wendy’s will undoubtedly start getting a lot more business simply because of this, as Americans show their support for Wendy’s chain.
We did our little part last night, and ordered hamburgers from our local Wendy’s ........ and totally enjoyed our meal !

Here’s a little tidbit that should really annoy those who somehow believe that the Republican party is the party of the rich. Among some stats, the article also gives a pretty good reason for the ‘Wendy’s” (among other corporation’s) debacle. It isn’t that the Democrat party isn’t getting a huge chunk from large corporations and unions, it’s just that they do not wish the Republican party to get large donations.

One more game hit the news this morning.
The governor of Kentucky, (dem) Andy Beshear has proposed a new kind of insurance for “Some“ of his fellow Kentuckians.
I write the word Some because the insurance program will only be meant for 8% of of Kentuckians, more specifically, the black population.

Yes, according to the good governor’s proposal, in order to insure better equality among his constituency, the black citizenry of his state will receive free health insurance.
From what I have read, he plans to combine medicare, medicaid along with some state and federal funds to bring the plan to fruition.

Sadly though, what Andy hasn’t thought of is that his plan will probably be shut down by the Supreme Court because the plan violates the civil rights of the other 92% of the citizens of Kentucky.
Even IF his proposition actually makes it to the top of the to-do list, does he really believe that giving free health insurance to people simply because of the color of one’s skin will help unite the races?

    Good morning to all-

Bobby- I have not heard of this health insurance plan. Actually, this might be a good idea. Try a health insurance plan with a smaller test group, and if it works, apply it to all who want and/or need government assisted health plans. Surely the need in our country for an affordable and somewhat fair health care payment system is something all can agree on. Of course, there are some folks who oppose any kind of government sponsored health care system because that's "socialism."
What we must keep in mind is that we all pay for everyone else's health care one way or another, so we might as well look for a one-payer system that offers basic health care to all and specialized health care to those who need it. And yes, any health care system is going to be expensive, but look at health care costs now. If someone gets seriously sick and needs long-term or intensive care, that person's family is going to be financially wrecked.
I don't care which political party sponsors a decent, affordable health care plan, but I have to be honest and say I have heard nothing but silence from the party of the current occupant of the White house on this topic.

    good day to all- Ed

I think that everyone would agree that having health insurance is an important thing. I had none until I was old enough for Medicare/medicaid, and I know that my heart probably would not be in the bad condition that it is in now, if I had been able to get medical treatment before it was left for so many years untreated at all.

That is why we have the medicaid plan in the first place, is to help low income people with no other insurance. However, having a plan that only covers people of one skin color ..........how does THAT make sense at all ?
Some one either gets treated, or doesn’t get treated based on skin color; you can’t GET any more racist than that !

If this were announced that it was going to be free health benefits for only white skin color, then it would be completely condemned, (and rightfully so, if I may add).
Anytime that people are being judged , approved, or disapproved for something like the color of their skin, the person making that judgement is doing it from the standpoint of race, regardless of what their position is.

Ah, but one of the first things D. Trump did was to take the penalties associated with Obama Care off the table. If you remember, if one didn’t subscribe to Obama’s Affordable Health Care, there were fines from $150 and up for not doing so. I know of one person who paid a $450 fine and said he could not afford the insurance plan and still pay his mortgage, feed his kids etc.
But you’re right, there should be something everyone can agree on.

Do note though, my post wasn’t about a trial insurance complete with control groups but an outright bill that would, if approved, give coverage to only those who are black.
Now, that said, the NAACP already has a health initiative included with their membership but I do not know all the details of that plan.

Here’s one that I think everyone will enjoy.
Nury Martinez (Dem), the president of the city of Los Angeles City Council was one of the first to to proclaim that her police department should be defunded or at least, less funded.

The problem? She has had one and sometimes two police officers guard her home 24/7 since April. Let’s see, Cops make $x amount per month times almost 2 months times 4-8 cops = ? Well whoop-de-yee! The Mayor should be taking that sum out of the good lady’s paycheck!

The Democrats want to change history
First they say the blacks are voting for them because they have lied to them. History tells a different thing if you do research you will find
13th Amendment Abolished Slavery Republican 100% Democrat 23%
15th Amendment Right to vote for all Republican 100% Democrat 0%
14th Amendment Give citizenship to freed slaves Republican 94% Democrat 0%
First 23 black house members were Republican
The democrats started the black caucus and never helped the blacks but became millionaires.
The KKK was the democrat part and Hillary call one of their leader her mentor.
Now wanting to remove their racist past by pulling down statues of democrat generals.
Democrats even elected a black president and the black community did not improve but he left as a multi millionaire
Busy in the democrat controlled schools rewriting history.

Yes, the Republican Party used to be the anti-slave party but that was century and more ago. The character of both parties has changed drasticlally since and it proves nothing to cite the prediilctions of either party of a hundred years ago. It simply is no example of what either party does today.

Could that be because there hasn't been any slavery to oppose since?
