Super Moon

    Super moon rising around 7pm and again at 3am.

    Just zoomed my lens in to get the picture of the moon as large as I could....and then cropped the picture too which enlarged the moon even more. :)

    When I took the rising super moon pictures at 7pm the skies were very clear over here but it was a different story with the 3am picture there were many clouds moving over the moon...but they moved quickly and I was able to get a few clear pictures at that time. This is one of the cloud pictures. IMG_3614.JPG

    Beautiful images! Once, when I lived in Vegas (not pertinent, though I thought then, maybe only in Vegas!), the moon appeared one evening bigger and more orange-colored than I had ever seen it in my 30+ years. At first, it caught me off guard, almost frightened me, as no advance warning or news had I heard of the pending sight. My first reaction was, "What the hell"? Then, gradually, I came to see it was not a Russian invasion, nor any other kind of extraterrestrial even, only the moon, bigger than I had ever seen it! Only in Vegas!
