    Today is the annual Summer Solstice, where there is the longest time between sunrise and sunset.

    It also marks the first day of Summer.

    I will commemorate this day by doing nothing.:)

    It's always amazed me that the tilt of the Earth's axis affects temperature more than our distance from the Sun.

    I always thought that the seasons were offset by 6 months...northern hemisphere summer = southern hemisphere winter.
