Another strange sight some time back, was an elder lady sitting in a trolley cart being pushed along by her
daughter. I did a double take as I pictured this older gal climbing into that trolley !
They were both giggling at their antics - but I wish I'd seen her get into it :p

Is a trolley a shopping cart?
, when I hear trolley I think of a streetcar:) I know you didn't mean streetcar but not sure if you meant shopping cart.

Out here, they are called a "buggy". It took me a while to get used to them being called anything besides a shopping cart. And if you give someone a ride somewhere, you are said to be "carrying them" instead of driving them wherever you are taking them to.

    Haha...a buggy is for babies!

Guess even the US has different words for things depending on where you live.

I'll try it when I'm at the store and let you know, lol. I know I could do it if someone is holding the cart steady...you step on the bottom shelf, put one leg over the cart and you're almost in after some maneuvering. :)

Edit: this had me curious so I tried to see how far I could lift my leg and I put my foot on the kitchen counter which is about 38 inches high....now that would have been a sight to see by someone, lol.

Next step would be to see if I could get in my kitchen sink....not going to try it though. :)

Most of ours have one...that's where some people put the big packs of water in bottles, etc. But I don't think I'd need the bottom shelf because my kitchen counter is a little higher than a cart...I think. :)

IMG_0819.JPG They look like this one usually but not red, think Target has the red ones but I'm sure other stores do too.
