When I was a young man, all, or nearly all women wore stockings & suspenders (garters) it would be nice to know how many ladies still wear them, I doubt not many, thanks to tights
My husband says I always wear them with the black Teddy in his dreams. LOL But in real life I never wear stockings anymore...or tights for that matter.
stockings? garters? .... Heavens N Alan!.. not part of my life. Hasn't been for years now. Getting dressed in the morning into my favorite sweats is enough of a chore. The retired life does that to you.
That's funny. When I was younger I managed to sneak into my mother's lingerie and found that unusual item and wondered how it was worn. I later saw it in a women's magazine. Haven't thought about this until now.
If you are talking about the Teddy @Von Jones...that's my husband's dream....not mine...and even when my body could have pulled a Teddy off...I was not "brave" enough to try it out.

I must admit I have never heard of black teddy stockings, a picture of a bear in a stocking came into my mind is this what you mean
I actually have a pair like that @Terry Page , but with a white bow at the top. Was part of a halloween costume.
